Prasonissi is the southest tip of the island around 72 km from Rhodes town, meaning “green island”.  It has two sandy coves where on one side is the Aegean Sea and the other the Mediterranean. What is amazing about Prasonissi is the fact that when the water levels are high it becomes an island and when the water levels are low it’s a peninsula attached to the island of Rhodes. It is known to be a good place for windsurfing and kite surfing and offers an incredible view.

How to get there: You can take a bus from Mandraki in the center of Rhodes which is near the boutique hotel. The bus takes about an hour and 50 minutes according to traffic.
